How to launch a premium celebrity perfume brand in traditional media platforms
Sometimes it is a good idea to go ‘old school’ with marketing and promotion. This particular brand gave me an outlet to hone my traditional advertising and promotional skills. In addition to being a premium brand, it required a slightly different approach to the way it was promoted to the masses. My involvement was a collaboration at times which produced amazing results.
I was fortunate to be able to work alongside industry expert Karen Morris. The collaboration with her turned into a series of Lauren Stone print advertisements. This employed my freelance graphic design work and allowed me to exercise a different kind of creativity. It helped me to meet the demands of this high-end, highly recognisable perfume brand.
Although I did work on social media platforms with this project, the majority of the marketing plan centered on highway billboards, point-of-purchase store signage and presentation graphics. My skill set got tested several times and I came out smelling like roses. Well, you know what I mean. The work I did on this celebrity scent made sense and increased awareness tremendously.
“Toni exceeded my expectations in all areas of the process. His creative thinking, professionalism, and communication was exceptional and I’d highly recommend him for any identity design project.”
