To create exposure to expansion plans into the UK of this Sicilian coffee giant company
This was a very interesting project for a number of reasons. Aside from the fact that I am a huge coffee fan, I found myself dealing directly with Italian agencies with art direction. This most certainly assisted me with my communication skills and gave me an opportunity to create another working relationship with an agency in a foreign country.
The main goal was to create and manage the UK launch of this coffee brand. I wasn’t going to let it cool because everyone knows coffee is best when it is hot. With this in mind, I used all available social network feeds for the initial launch. I also worked on the creation of several posters where my graphic design skills got to brew.
I also managed an AdWords campaign and all UK social media channels so that the message was consistent and frequent. Then I took a coffee break. As I was calmly sipping a hot cup of Joe, the Zicaffee social media feeds continued to chug along, doing their job. After the first six months had passed, Zicaffee had amassed a total of over 10,000 followers.
Hey, I said I liked coffee, didn’t I? Clearly so do a lot of other people and I was able to create the tools that gave this new brand the kind of results they were looking for as part of their expansion plans.
